Pumpkin Carving

Well, I carved my pumpkin last night... for the past several years, I've been wanting to get an actual pattern and carve with the carving tools.  But it never happens. Next year!! Ha ha! (As a Cubs fan, next year is always *the* year!)  I've also been wanting to try a no-carve pumpkin so I bought a small one and, courtesy of Pintrest, found a "spider web/spider" design that I wanted to try.  It didn't turn out as I wanted but I wasn't totally disappointed. Chalk it up to a learning experience. 

My First Blog.

Thanks for stumbling across my blog! This is a first for me, but as I just got married and am trying my hand at starting my own photography business, I felt that having a blog (and hopefully, readers) will hold me accountable to putting my all into it and not giving up. Along with my photography, I'm going to be more crafty and show my achievements & failures on the blog as well. (Many thanks to Pinterest for wanting to be so darn crafty!) I've also been trying to be much healthier and lose weight so I figured this would be a great way to put myself out there and do it. No More Excuses!
